The Verges Joshua Topolsky is telling us this afternoon what hes heard from sources familiar with the matter. According to Topolsky, Apple will announce the iPad 3 on-stage tomorrow, along with the third-generation Apple TV

The report says the iPad 3 (or perhaps iPad HD) will feature a dual-core A5X processor, rather than the quad-core A6 processor many have hoped for. The A5X will be the A5 on steroids.

Topolsky says there is no doubt that the iPad 3 will feature a 2048 x 1536 Retina display, which will be powered by the A5X. The A5X may also offer more RAM than its predecessor. Other rumors have said the iPad 3 will feature upgraded cameras, a larger battery, and Siri support.

When it comes to whether the iPad 3 will feature LTE or not, The Verge says there will be two different versions of the LTE iPad one for Verizon Wireless and one for AT&T. As for the international version, it wont come in LTE only 3G.

In addition to the iPad 3, the rumored third-generation Apple TV will also be announced on stage, according to the report. It should feature 1080p capabilities, Bluetooth 4.0, and speedier with the possibility of the A5X processor being included.

Good news for our Russian friends who are thinking about getting an iPad. The country recently reclassified the iPad as a PC, putting it in a category of devices that are exempt from the 5% import tax:

But for now, theyre still fair game. And the latest report comes from Reuters. The publication is throwing its hat in with a list of other credible sources in claims that Apples new tablet will feature 4G LTE technology

The newest iPad will be capable of operating on a high speed 4G LTE, or Long-Term Evolution network, according to a source familiar with the product. At speeds roughly 10 times faster than current 3G technology, that may go a long way toward banishing the sometimes shaky video quality of older devices.

LTE has been a pretty controversial feature amongst speculation regarding the iPad 3. While some folks have been confident the tablet will feature the 4G technology, others dont believe the tech is widespread enough for Apple to take on the extra costs and headaches.

But more recent reports from Bloomberg, The Wall Street Journal, and now Reuters, seem to all but confirm the feature. And at this point, it wouldnt surprise us a bit if Apple unveiled an LTE-compatible tablet at tomorrows event.

Were just one day away from the big event and it things that new information is leaking by the minute. Yesterday, we heard from a reliable source that the iPad 3 might indeed be LTE capable. Today 9to5Mac reports on the availability of the iPad 3.

According to sources who have presumably be reliable in the past, 9to5Mac claims that the iPad 3 will be available in store on March 16, which falls on a Friday, a day that Apple has historically favored when launching new products

Weve been told by a Apple Store source who has been reliable in the past that preparations are being made for a big Apple Store event which will culminate on Friday, March 16th. Naturally, this points to an iPad 3 launch on the Friday just nine days after tomorrows announcement. Weve previously noted that an Apple Store in London at the world famous Harrods will open on that date as well as a new Store in Houston, Texas.
