You have stated an opinion, so I will state mine. They are both good games, but choosing Elder Scrolls game series, or Fallout game series is a preference. It's whatever one you like more, whether it is the storyline or gameplay. Or you could pick both if you really like them. Not saying that you don't have the right to tell him to get Skyrim because that is an opinion and everyone is allowed to state theirs, but I am just saying I prefer Fallout series more because I absolutely LOVE the storyline.

I once played it non stop for 36 hours straight! That's how much I love that god damn game.
