This doesnt even work at all, so its not going to work in the future.
N.o 1 EA arn't that dumb, and im sure they checked what happens if someone signs out/lags out/turns their console off whilst buying a pack. Hence why the game opens the pack next time you go on it.
N.o 2 This guy is justing trying to get you to waste MSP/Coins do not trust this, save your coins/MSP.

I think it's so you can change the contents of the pack to something you want. Slim chance of getting something rarer though.
