Looking to get Astro A40's, just wanted to know if I should get any extra's for example rechargeable battery pack ect. I am going to buy the Optical cable (I've heard it's pointless getting without it).

Also wanted to know if maybe a new Astro headset or Mixamp would be released since they lowered the prices.

Please reply ;)

I'd advise buying the Energizer Lithium rechargeable battery pack, very handy!

Should I just get the rechargeable battery pack with it, or go and buy it separately?

No, you won't get one with it, get one separate, preferably the one I said
