All I can say is I'm really sorry for what you will be going through when you die, or when God calls his children home. I'm a very firm believer of God, Jesus, and the Christian religion and no one can make me believe any different.
The way I know, and believe, that God exist is because he has worked miracles in my family and he answers my prayers to. I guarantee that if anyone surrendered their life to Christ then you would know without a doubt that it's all real.
I can't make anyone believe in God, that's a personal choice you have to make yourself. But I do urge you to reconsider and give it a try. Jesus will return to this earth and call his children home one day and I believe that day is closer than we think. After Christ calls his children home then you will see that it's real.
You can hold me to this, when millions of ppl just suddenly vanish then you will see that He is real. When a single man claims to be the messiah on earth, after the rapture, then you will see that He is real. When you have to suffer for 7 years, the tribulation, then you will see He is real. When that single man makes you take a mark on your hand or forehead, mark of the beast 666, then you will see that He is real.
Just read the bible and you will see that all of these prophecys are coming true. All of the signs in the bible are coming true. The only reason ppl don't believe in God, Jesus, and the Christian religion is only because Satan doesn't won't you to believe it. Right now your letting Satan win, even though he has already been defeated.
This is my belief and my opinion. I just hope that someone will read this and want to surrender their life to Christ. It's such an awesome feeling and life. Look at it this way, if you want to live forever then you need to surrender to Christ. Only He can give you everlasting life.

I've also tried believing in God, I attended a church for several weeks hoping I would experience something. I had no experience at all, I just felt like I was insane.

I'm guessing you're a preacher or a preacher's son. You are saying that if I don't believe in Christ, he is going to deny me safety and hand me into the arm's of Satan? You sound like you base your life on the war between Heaven and Hell. Don't let yourself get hung up on religion my friend, its not worth it. I'm not telling you what or how to believe, I'm just asking you to calm down. If you truly did have these experiences where your prayers were answered and Christ/God has saved you, please do tell. I believe in ghosts and demons. When a person is possessed they need an exorcism to get rid of the demon, so obviously there is a super-natural force at work.

Because the stories are told by white men, note, stories. There has never been any evidence toward the existence of God, there might be of Jesus Christ, but not of the things that he is suppose to have done.
