Hey guys. I've never posted in this section but I want to learn how to program and I don't know where to start. I asked my geometry teacher on where to start because she is a programming wiz and she said to start on Python. But from what I see around here is C++. I have learned the basics on Python but should I switch over to C++ and start learning their or just continue on with Python? Please positive feedback I'm only a rookie to programming. Thanks.

It all really depends on what you are interested in. Games, software, web design?
Usually most people start with either Java or C++ or C#.
My starting language was Java which helped me with C# and iOS development.
C++ helps alot more if you are interested in designing games.

Well i started with Visual Basics and i am on my way to a technical degree. Visual basics is a software creator. You can make AIO programs, webbrowsers, and so much more!

I would say just give it a try on c++ and see how it goes, I started with c++ and it helped me learn the programming in general and now I program in 4 different languages.
just give a go and see what happens.
