Jak and Daxter Collection (known in PAL regions as The Jak and Daxter Trilogy) is a video game that contains high-definition remastered port of the PlayStation 2 games Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Jak II and Jak 3, for the PlayStation 3 on a single Blu-ray Disc as a Classics HD title, published by Sony Computer Entertainment. The games were originally developed by Naughty Dog, and who have assisted in the remastering alongside Mass Media Inc. to provide support for high-definition monitors, higher frame rates, stereoscopic 3D, and additional features for the PlayStation Network. The Collection celebrate Jak and Daxter franchise's 10th anniversary. The Collection was released both as a retail release and as a digital download on the PlayStation Store (each title in the Collection is available for separate purchase and as a collection).

Well the Jak and Daxter are finally remastered in HD! At last, They bring back my 3 favourite games of all time! And i can say the setting was brilliant, all the old memories of this game when i played it growing up became a reality when remastered in 720pHD and its more like i remember it rather than some 240 graphics. The game's setting was great for all 3 they didn't change a thing they kept the same everything. I was happy that they kept the same sounds of walking in the beach swimming, EXPLOSIONS. It was my dream playing these games again. The settings for these games were wild, so fun, humourous, and just brilliant. Overall the setting was perfect, can never go wrong with this collection!

Well everything was perfect once again, The Fighting, The Shooting,The killing, The racing, The hoverboarding, The plot stwists, These games have everything. Everything. The once thing i admired above all was how i could play the game in quick succsession without having to change discs, You could see the way Jak grows up and changes and how his inventory and his powers change, i also picked up quite alot from the story that i didn't get playing as a child. The graphics when shooting thingd now was better, before it looked like a very bad pixilated explosion of bullets, not its much finer with a smooth feel to it and much more enjoyable. It also looked so much more epic when Jak turned into a dark eco creature, all the Purple lightning around him, it was to epic. I didn't have any problems with the gameplay, a good thing is that they have made the game easier i think, or maybe i have just got better at gaming, either way the games are fun, easy but not to easy, funny, just the best games ever created. There were also no bugs what so ever on my playthrough as i completed it like 4 days ago, which was great, they sorted the graphics and the glitches, that is a good game! I do not own a 3D TV so i don not know how good the 3D compatable is, but i imagine it must be really fun! Overall the gameplay is fantastic and i recomend anyone to but this Collection, you will not regret it, i assure you.

Well the game was in 720p so the graphics were great! Also Naughty Dog are known for there crazy/ humourous Graphics, like in certain attacks Daxter would basically fly around Jak and then land perfectly on him. I was more than happy on the Graphics overall, The racing,fighting and boss battles were all great, Also the first game(original)'s had been asked by the creators of Ratchet and Clank to use there game engine, and if you enjoyed that series, then you will most likely enjoy this one aswell. Overall the graphics were amazing, such a great idea to bring the game out in 720p, i just have to say Congrats to Mass Media Inc.

Well it wasn't hard to convert the controls over to the PS3 Controller, as it took the same design as PS2 only wireless. For controls i found them easier to use than PS2 becuase the buttons are looser its so much easier to shoot with it and using fist attacks. Being a platformer aswell made the controls easy. Overall the controls were good, very good.

The collection received largely positive reviews on release, not only based on the original titles but on the improvements made in the high definition port. Both review aggregate websites Metacritic and GameRankings gave the collection an average score of 85%

Well in the collection they have added a Trophy System for the game, probably to make people play it more, make original fans want to be jak and daxter master, or to make it seem like a completely new game to people new to the series. I personally have 84% Of the trophys, and i think it was a smart move.

Overall id like to say this collection was beast, I enjoyed everything this game had to offer it was everything i wanted and more, the graphics, gameplay, controls were just brilliant, if you dont have this game i highly recommend you buy this game now, it is just a dream come true to me, and everyone else who loved this great series.
