i was clearing out my hardrive, and i had all 3 map packs for mw3, but no patch, but i can still play?

EDIT: and why does the name of liberance map pack say "map pack 03 subscribers"

ANOTHER EDIT: I CLEARED THE SYSTEM CACHE AND NOW I HAVE TO DOWNLOAD AN UPDATE AGIAN.

Did you clear system cache if so you may be luck,If not epic fail.

You can play MW3 without the update if it doesn't force you to download it, but in this case you cannot play with people who have downloaded the update. Maybe you did get it but you just dont know..? :S
