I have a HUGE computer problem.
So just some basic info, I got a windows vista laptop and i have searched a bit and it says that even though im on the admin user i still don't have all the admin priveliges(Spelling?).
I was trying to install Skype & malwarebytes cause i think i have virus.
When i try to install it, then it says i need admin and i write in the admins password and it still does not work.
And i have done the run as admin when i try to install the programs it just say i to write password and the password is right but then it says i dont get the priveliges.
I think that this is because i have virus on this computer but McAfee does not see any viruses and that's why i wanna install Malwarebytes.
Please tell me why it is like this and what i can do to fix it!

Boot up in safe mode, system restore to a couple days ago.
Better than any AV scan.
If you don't want to do that, simply boot up in safe mode & run the installer.

Plus wrote make a new user and set it as an admin
Made a new account as admin and when i tried to install malware i still get the same problem.
C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes'Anti-Malware\mbamet.dll
An error occured during a try to change the name on a file in the installationcatalog:
MoveFile failed; Code 5.
Acces Denied.
Choose Try again or ignore to skip this file(Not recommended), Or chose cancel installation.
And when i pressed ignore on like 10 errors that popped up and then i tried to run the program i get this.
Can't run this file:
C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes'Anti-Malware\mbam.exe
CreateProcess failed; Code 2.
Can't find file.
Anyone else got an idea ?

Got a few choices here
1) check user settings to make sure you have actually have admin settings
2) make a new profile with admin settings
3) use the command console to reset the admin password
4) uninstall vista, it's terrible and get windows 7 if you can
It's not a virus because McAfee would definitely show it just do a complete system check to make sure

The problem is that this problem has been on for days, This is not my computer but he said that this pc has been slow for ages.
I will try to go in safe mode and install it.

Are you SURE you have administrative privileges? As for slowness, it might be due to the virus.
