Hell to the no. There are MUCH better options out there with considerably lower price tags and comparable sound. I have a pair of Sony MDR-XB500 Extra Bass headphones. They cost me about $80 and they were worth every penny. I would've even payed $300 for them! They sound just that good. They have amazing bass straight out of the box but they sound even better when you use an EQ. I use an Android tablet and I installed a simple EQ app and it made them sound 100x better. These headphones sound better then Studios, I compared them to my friends pair of Studios and they sounded better. He even agreed. I would highly recommend the Sony MDR-XB500 headphones. They are over the ear and have faux-leather cups, but they feel extremely comftorable, and they look great aswell. Link:

Take this guys advice, r00t_b33r really knows his headphones.
I have beats, and they're okay, but there's no way studios are worth any more than $50... The bass isn't great, they don't break too easily, but if you're not super careful they can just snap, the sound quality is actually quite terrible.
You're basically paying for the name... Like most things nowadays.

Thanks for that, i'll look into them...Thing is about them they look pretty big, so i'd look pretty stupid in college. But then again who cares what they look like, its how they sound and how the bass is!
