I have and iPad 2 and iPhone 4s that are both on iOS 5.0.1 and I am currently jail broken with the untethered iOS 5.0.1 Absinthe Jailbreak.
I just need some people to give me their thoughts on 5.1 and if I should update my iPad 2 and iPhone 4s.

well i updated mine....i honestly got tired of the jailbreak :/ i wanted to have everything updated and whatnot

There is no jailbreak for the iPad 2 or the iPhone 4s for on iOS 5.1 yet..

There is a semi-tethered jailbreak for non A5 devices. But ion1c has posted on his twitter account proof of the iPad 2 jailbroke on the newest 5.1 A5 device and that also means that it can be done for the iPhone 4s as well so it will be a matter of a few days before they write a program for a new jailbreak whether it is untethered, semi tethered, or tethered we should here in the next few days i would guess. But who really knows other than them rite?
