Soon, I'll be writing a screen capturer for Linux. It will be made specifically for Linux, but I may add some Windows functionality. I have nothing planned for the Mac OS, sorry.

This leads to the question I'm asking: How many of you use Linux daily? Please do not brag about how ub3r h4x0r you are for using Linux... a simple yes, no, and if you want, reasons that you use or don't use Linux.

Your replies are valued and appreciated. I thank in advance anyone who gives their input.

Windows 7 Ultimate.

Mainly because:

  • It's what I'm use to.
  • Linux has troubles like right clicking, installing Java and so on..

I think you're misunderstanding Linux. Right clicking is the exact same as it is on Windows, and how you install Java depends on your package manager. I am currently running Gentoo,so Portage is my package manager. All I have to type is a statement similar to "emerge jdk" and it installs everything for me. I can even have more than one version of jdk installed. If you were running, say, Ubuntu, you would open up it's package manager, search for "jdk" or "jre" and then click install.

Anyways, what OS you use is up to you. I'm just trying to be helpful.

I've used it. To me it's confusing as hell. Everything is way more complicated than it should be. But what do you expect from something that is open-source and free. It's not meant to be used as a primary OS in my opinion. Still has some kinks in it.
