Man I disagree. I got the Turtle Beach x11's about 2 years ago and don't get me wrong they were great! They had very good bass good sound quality and were very, very comfortable. Now I'm using the Astro's for the past year and they are still running as smoothly as the day I first got them and all I can say is they are both great! The Astro's do sound better though. The Turtle Beach's have more bass and the good thing is the bass isn't overpowering. They are only what, about $50.00? Well worth the price! The Astro's, like I said just have that really crisp and clear sound that's just very rare to come across in any other head-set. And once again from personal experience, I found that the Turtle Beach's were just that LITTLE bit more comfortable. I guess that was because of the weight. They were a little bit lighter. Hope this helped the origional poster =]
It does man Thanks im leaning towards the astros but its tough i just hope they dont break cant stand when the headsets break :/
Ok well my advice to you then man is, if you have enough money, you should go for the Astro's. Although they are expensive, they are worth every penny. Brilliant HD sound and very fast delivery from their website. If you get the mix-amp with it, you will then get 5.1 surround sound which really does sound fantastic! By the way if any company say that the surround sound is 7.1, they're bull-shitting you bro. Like I said the Astro's I got about a year back are still completely intact. Absolutely nothing wrong with them. The only way they can break is if the person does something to them.
As for the Turtle Beach's, if you only have less than $100. For sure these are a great choice! As many would say they are the perfect bang for your buck! Plus the good side is that I think most local stores sell them! They also have great sound and are extremely comfortable! But if you have the money, the Astro A40's are perfect!(x11's is what I'm talking about by the way
Oh yeah and don't go for Tritton's. They break very easily and have an aweful lot of wires. Plus the bass can get a bit muddy at times and overpowers the trebble's and mid's.

Then you should get them man! They sound almost like audiophile quality headphones the sound is that good! The bass is low. Which is good You don't want it to over power the sound quality like a lot of other headsets do. I'm sure you've already looked up reviews of them on YouTube and I'm sure you've heard all good things! And like my friend once said, you're better off getting one decent pair of headphones that will run you a bit deep on money but sound excellent and superb then constantly buying cheap headphones that sound bad. The Astro's are truely a great choice bro. I have no complaints about them at all
