What is the best technique to kill "Bonehead"

This is my character's stats as of right now:
SOLDIER
Level: 8
Scorpio Turret
Defense Skill 1/5
Stockpile Skill 2/5

Weapons Equipped:
HLK20 Deathly Machine Gun
Stats (For weapon above)
24 Damage
68 Accuracy
6.5 Fire rate
+10% fire rate
1.4x weapon zoom
24 round magazine

SPR11 Terrible Shotgun
Stats (For Weapon above)
21x9 Damage
45.8 accuracy
.4 fire rate
+19% damage

Shield Equipped:
PNG2-085 Symmetrical Fortified Shield
Stats for shield
145 capacity
15 recharge rate

Grenade mod equipped:
Explosive Sticky
16 grenade damage

I also got the SDU for my combat rifle and shotgun (More ammo )

Weapon Proficiencies:
1 Shotgun
1 Combat Rifle

(Should I switch out the shotgun I have currently equipped for T.K's Wave?)

Do you think I should do the other quest T.K has for me before I kill Bonehead?

I just want to know a good technique of going about doing this.

I used T.K's Wave when I killed him. I'd suggest using it. Bonehead isn't hard, I was a solider, but I hid behind a wall and used short burts, when he got closer, I used T.K.'s Wave. And a lot of gernades

My way was to get a sniper stay back and keep on shooting him in the head

Personally I wouldn't recommend the wave, It isn't very accurate. I used a sniper and hid on the bridge

Yeah I'm probably going to do this but first I'm going to do the bladeflower seed quest just to level up and get that sniper rifle just incase I need to fall back and long range him.
