check your windows live IDs emails you should have been sent an email with the reason...
I got CONSOLE banned for asking someone for micro points.

Like said call microsoft or you could send a ms to xbox on there website to find out what yoou have done thats what i did there is always a reason for them banning..

But what's weird is I think it's the guy cuz my cousin was banned the SAME EXACT time as I did .
