I know right. Bioware shows so many clues that its a dream but they did it so perfectly that nearly no one noticed it!

The ending was too subtle though, very few people noticed that this was actually indoctrination going on.

When I was playing the ending, I thought something was wrong, but I couldn't point out what was happening, so I went on believing that the ending was real.

This really clears up the ending though, it would seem that Bioware did make a great ending, but it wasn't very clear to most people, that is why many people (such as myself before watching this video) believed the ending was horrible.

I can now go back, replay the ending, and appreciate it for what it is, thank you.

I agree. I think their idea was ingenious and great! But it was a little too subtle. They could have added maybe one hint that was a little more obvious. But either way it was a good trick. The other bad thing is that they did not include the real ending on the disk of the supposedly "full" and last game in the trilogy. So we are going to have to shell out more money to see the real ending. I know I'm going to but its still pretty greedy of them.

Shepard did not die. It was a hallucination. If you picked the "control" or "synthesis" options then you give in to indoctrination and become part of the reapers! If you choose the destroy option it does not show Shepard turning into a "husk" like reaper and he gets more strength the more he shoots it. Also if you choose to destroy the reapers and have your readiness meter filled all the way up, there is a short scene at the end showing Shepard taking a breath back on earth in the rubble from Harbingers beam. This is because he never left earth. It was all a hallucination!

holy sh*t all of this makes so much sense bioware wouldnt leave you with the option to take out the reapers that would end the series and bioware said this was the end of shepards tale which basically mean that they could have a new character to play as because the reapers areent gone and i bet there gonna make shepard a boss battle of some sorts i mean trying to get to the hearts of players is what biowares about i mean watchin somethin exceed to a level and then havin to destroy it now thats something bioware would do
