Fall in certain light looks gold too. But you should be able to tell the diff between Fall and Gold.

This is first I've heard of Gold weapons

there is definately gold desert eagle so maybe they've done it in a similiar way..

OK, So you guys have probably seen those confusing and hard-to-follow videos on Youtube on how to get the Gold D-Eagle on MW2 Right? Well if you do not like to HeX edit then this program is for you. It's called Eclipse. This is a new program that lets you mod your created classes and much more!

1. Hook up your HDD to your PC using the Data Transfer Cable.
2. Open up your HDD using Xport or Xplorer.
3. Go to Partition 3 if you have an HDD or Partition 2 if you are using a MEMCard.
4. Go to Content (User Profiles, Saves, etc.)
5. Find your profile.
6. Go inside your profile folder and click on Multiplayer Progress.
7. Go throught the subfolders until you find mpdata.
8. Drag that file to your Desktop.
9. Open up Eclipse and click on the Blue Menu Button and click Game Tools.
10. Then click on MW2.
11. When the MW2 window opens up click on the Load Button.
12. Find the mpdata file on your Desktop and Import that into Eclipse.
13. Mod the file to your liking and then drag it back onto your HDD.
14. HAVE FUN WITH THE GOLD DESERT EAGLE!!!
