Alright, but I was just looking for what specific screws and sizes along with what washers that are needed because the kits overcharge a lot you for only 8 screws which can be bought easily in a store for less that half of what they are charging.

If you're talking about the "X-Clamp fix" there is a step by step video on youtube that i came across plus it lists all the hardware:

Here are the UPCs and descriptions for the parts you'll need from a Home Depot:
030699 801282; MACHINE SCREW PAN - PHILLIPS 5mm x 10mm #5, STEEL / ZINC PLATED - You'll need 8 screws total.
030699 363087; FLAT WASHER, 5mm #5, STEEL ZINC PLATED - You'll need 8 steel washers total.
030699 869381; FLAT WASHER, #10, NYLON - You'll need 8 nylon washers total.
Get Arctic Silver 5 from any RS.

Wow, thanks for the great replys. I also found that many people keep the x-clamps on but put 2 washers inbetween the xclamp and the board. But on others i see the screws with washers. Is there much of a difference?

Also, i've seen many ways of overheating after you do the xclamps. Some say to just run it till u get 2 red lights and some say to leave it for 30min with 2 red lights. And one that i found unique was to just overheat the GPU. This would include putting the fan on the CPU because the overheating chip/ticker is in the CPU. So it kind of tricks the board into not overheating when it actually is. This person also said if it gets to 2 lights, heat is stopped from going into the chip so its not really overheating.

Just want to know the best ways to do everything. Don't want to end up buying a new 360 and messing up. THANKS

Also, I been hearing a lot of controversy over using nylon and steel washers. Any input on that?
