I'd just like the point out that age is very irrelevant, I know people who have been programming since 12, and hear of others who have started earlier, and I wouldn't consider using Gamesalad anywhere near programming.

Just my opinion, but it seems like you're attempting to brag by stating your age, especially in the title of your topic.

This being said, I wish you good luck with your future games.

Just to clarify does gamesalad use ANY actual coding in a actual language such as Java, C, C++, C# or anything? It's a good way to start if you are going to go on to "real" coding. However, I would not class this as coding or app dev. Lastly, age is not a factor. In-fact at a younger age your brain can absorb info faster and better meaning that its easier to learn a language.

So, well done so far. Hope you choose to progress in programming.

Take it your not big on 'business'.
If your young, your apps get more attention. It is not a way of bragging, its for business.

And as said before, we mainly use Gamesalad. I also use Xcode and have touched on Corona SDK.
We are programmers, im good in HTML, PHP, MySQL, LUA, and a touch of Obj-C

Take it you're not big on "integrity".

I'd rather get downloads from the quality of the app, not a gimmick, however, that's just my opinion.

On-Topic: When I hear age mentioned, I personally think bragging, showing off etc, and that puts me off people very quickly.

I feel you might be misinterpreting what I mean't from my comment, I am just trying to show you how quite a lot of people read into the age factor, it's more so than not, bad for your reputation.

Just some constructive criticism, no offence intended.

I was going to say the same thing..no need to post your age unless you are trying to prove something..... gamesalad is as far away from programming as you can get

The app would be good quality, its for 'promotion'.

My other app has great reviews.

Yes, however if your apps are not good then all the publicity will be bad and you will forever be know as "Those kids who did drag and drop"

Corona SKD, is just as bad as Gamesalad. It more or less the same. If you have done Corona SDK then I doubt you know Obj-C. HTML, is not programming. It's markup. MySQL, is not a language, SQL is.

I'm not doubting you may know some stuff. But don't go saying you know more than you do, its just embarrassing when someone who actually knows there stuff catches you.

No offence, It's just my view and hope you take it as constructive criticism and take it and improve.

Hey,
If you need any help with your apps (I suck at objective C, but I'm good at many other languages: PHP, HTML (kinda-language), some Javascript, C++, C#, XNA (Yes, I'm a legitimate programmer, not the modding kind)), feel free to PM me. I had one app on the app store (Bird Jump Deluxe), but it ended up being taken down due to someone else having a similar app to mine (no, I didn't know about it).

I am also good at Gamesalad, and Corona SDK (lua with an API, so not that hard to be good at; LOL).

AIM me if you want: danieldaniel123456 (and note that if you do it right now, I'm on phone internet; I may lose connection).
