..upgrade my routers firmware i get this message. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

I know it is the right one because i got it off the netgear website and its definetely the correct one for my router because they names match. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

And the file also saiys DGN1000 [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Why is this? I will rep for help.

.IMG is an ISO format, so you might need to burn it to a disk before you can use it.

Remove the (1) on the end. It might be that, if not then only thing I can suggest would be to restart router, re-download and try again.

Tried that and still got the same error, i know its not already updated because [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Thats the current firmware. Oh well.

edit: My speedcap didnt show up, it says its on V2.1.00.19_VG so its definetely not up to date
