Major Nelson, the Director of Programming from Xbox has posted on the main page of his blog that MineCraft for the Xbox 360 is being released to the public on May 9th. This information has been confirmed and along with that information the final set price is 1600 Microsoft Points. The full game will feature new creative interfaces, new crafting interfaces, natural controller movements and a full tutorial on your first start-up of the game. Get ready for the biggest arcade game release of the year.

ive given up on minecraft for xbox now, ever since people said coming out 17th, then april 1st and now may 9th. might as well just have not said anything until 1st may then tell us its coming out. so we have around a week rather then saying 2 months early and starting up all the hoax statments.

they really have given the whole minecraft xbox community a firm F@ck you

Its past March 16th already, and the 23rd.

Major Nelson is the most reliable source since he works for Microsoft and is on top for them.
