Hour and a half only because everything was done from scratch... I had to outline everything... most of the time and the rest was shading erasing, re doing and what not

Yup a cartoon drawing on a scratched metal texture was the wrong way to go. Any kind of cartoon background scene would have made this look 10 times better.
