Do you and your squad constantly find yourself losing rounds because your other fellow squads don't play the objective? This can be incredibly annoying. Fortunately my friends and I have found some helpful tips to help you win and get that ace squad medal. I'll start off by detailing my squad setup that seems to be very effective if your team is down.
- Class setups -
These are the class setups that my squad almost always uses. I assure you they are effective for playing the objective.
-Class 1-
Type: Assault
Primary - AEK-971 or M16A3
Attachments - Reflex/Holo sight, foregrip, suppressor
Secondary - M9 suppressor or G18 suppressor
Gadget 1 - M320 smoke
Gadget 2 - Defibrillator
Squad perk - Squad Flak
-Class 2-
Type: Assault
Primary - AEK-971 or M16A3
Attachments - Reflex/Holo sight, foregrip, suppressor
Secondary - M9 suppressor or G18 suppressor
Gadget 1 - Medic Kit
Gadget 2 - Defibrillator
Squad perk - Squad Sprint
-Class 3-
Type: Engineer
Primary - M4A1 or G36C
Attachments - Reflex/Holo sight, foregrip, suppressor
Secondary - M9 suppressor or G18 suppressor
Gadget 1 - SMAW/RPG or Javelin
Gadget 2 - EOD BOT
Squad perk - Squad Suppressing
-Class 4-
Type: Support
Primary - M249 or M27 IAR
Attachments - Reflex/Holo sight, foregrip, suppressor
Secondary - M9 suppressor or G18 suppressor
Gadget 1 - Ammo box
Gadget 2 - C4
Squad perk - Squad ammo
When Deciding who will use which class setup listed above, make sure if possible each squad mate gets the class they are most comfortable with. This will ensure a better chance of success.
-Tactics-
Here are some helpful tips on using these classes effectively.
Tip 1. Use the M320 smoke launcher to give your squad cover. This is highly effective for arming the objective and getting behind the enemy as you can not be spotted when taking cover in smoke. This gadget is overlooked by many as useless, but in my opinion its one of the more effective tools in the game.
Tip 2. Constantly throw down health backs and ammo. This seems like an obvious tip, but not enough people do it. This is especially effective if your team gets pinned down behind cover. The ammo box will ensure that if you can't kill the enemy you can at least suppress them long enough to move ahead.
Tip 3. Revive your squad mates if its a viable option. If a squad mate goes down and you know that you can revive him without being shot or without him being shot as soon as he stands up, then go for it. Do not revive if you know you have a high risk of being killed along with your squad mate again. Also, use your med kits constantly.
Tip 4. Suppress the enemy. Its a video game, no one cares about your accuracy. If you see enemies that are giving your squad or team trouble then suppress them if you cant get a clean kill. This is highly effective when your support class is using ammo boxes effectively.
Tip 5. Wait for your squad to spawn. If two of your squad mates die, it would be wise to hang back and wait for them to respawn on you before moving toward the objective. Having your squad wiped out and starting back at the main spawn can cost you the game.
Tip 6. Have your support class throw some C4 on the objective. This is very helpful if you need to take cover away from the objective and lets you sit at a safe distance.
Tip 7. Destroy those buildings. If you know the enemy is camping, have your engineer class bomb the building will some rockets. Another option if close enough is to have your support class C4 the building. This can be very effective if there are multiple enemies inside.
Tip 8. Use the EOD Bot. This little guy is super effective and sneaky. In combination with smoke you can arm the objective and cover it from a distance if you can't get close. This is one of my favorite tactics.
Tip 9. Stay away from the center of the map. Trust me, this is very helpful. If you go anywhere near the center of the map you are likely to be spotted. Stick to the the sidelines and use those trees and bushes for cover. Getting to the objective without being seen throws the enemy off guard.
Tip 10. Stick together. Stay close to your squad and communicate. This is probably the number one problem in Battlefield 3. Communication is key if you want to have a good squad.
I know most of this stuff is common sense for a lot of you. But some people need a little extra help and most people overlook the things I listed. After all Battlefield 3 can be intimidating with all of its options and massive maps. I hope this helped some of you out.

Sounds like a good class! The only thing I would change is from the laser sight to the suppressor.

DUGL4S wroteI don't use the suppressor because it reduces the range which on the M416 is great. Also the laser sight provides with better hip fire accuracy.-PedoBear- wrote This is my personal favorite when playing rush
