he was one of the unlucky ones that got into a negative xp game. I backed out as soon as I seen his rank go down to one.

Im not sure they can reset ranks..because they dont know who did it legit or who hacked. So if they had to reset ranks, people would be furious and there game sells would probably go down the hole.
