Do you remember what it was like before birth? You had that black screen and you had NO feelings at all, it will be like that after death for along time before you are reincarnated through space/time on to another life somewhere in our universe or maybe even other universes out there. Religion is just a fairy tale to keep everyone clean (spiritually), unfortunately it does NOT, it actually makes people ego and only causes wars. I respect all's personal beliefs, but the thing is, a lot of religious people wouldn't respect this opinion that I just posted. I don't believe in ANY religion, but I know that our planet is one of trillions, I know our galaxy is one of trillions, but what if our observable universe is one of trillions? Astronomy is my religion, space and time are simply a hint at what's next, combine Hinduism with Scientology and you'll get my own custom little religion.

Remember energy can't be created nor destroyed, same with matter. You are saying we die and go into the ground. What about the electrical signals in our brain, where does that energy go? Perhaps our conciseness isn't preserved but our energy is.

Nothing is left after you die, your brain dies as well as your stem cell. I would be careful if I were you, questioning death can lead to major schizophrenia.
