How to Check your FPS. Credit to Ers

To check your FPS on Runescape, do this.
On the top of your Keyboard, next the the No. 1 Key, their will be this Key, "~"
Hit that, then a Dialog box will come up, once it comes up type this, displayfps
Than it will show it, once your done hit this key "~" again, and it will go away.


Setting Priorities.

    Locate your Task bar at the Bottom of your Screen.Then right Click "Start Task Manager". Go to "Processes" Tab.

    Go to "Processes" Tab, than right click either "Jagex Launcher" or "Java.Exe*32" than go to "Set Priority" than set it to "High".

So now that you have installed it, how do you know RuneScape is using it? Well you go to the setting for RuneScape.

Than to Display Settings.

From here, click the Custom settings button.

And then just click on DirectX and there you have it. RuneScape is now running on DirectX.

Setting the Ram.
-iBelieve- Wrote this, I tried asking him to use it, but he's not on, so I gave him the Credit, and when he sees this, and if he dosn't want me to Post this, i'll remove it.
    1.Go to your control panel.
    2.After it is opended up in the top right corner type "java" or "Jagex Launcher" in the search bar.
    3.Click on that it should open up another window and there should be three tabs click either one of them.
    4.Next click "View"
    5.When that opens in the "Runtime Parameters" click in the white box and type "2GB" that is what I type you can put whatever you would like.

    Their's a Mac version, a Linux version, and an Windows Version.
    I personally prefer the Downloadable Client, because their is limited Ads,
    and it dosen't make your Web browser slow.

So I have been seeing some people say that RuneScape lags for them and I figured I'd share a program that I used when it lagged for me as well.


The program is called | Game Booster | it's made by a company called IObit.

Installation


In the process of installation it will ask you if you want to download the toolbar and such, you can hit SKIP or if you want to, you can go ahead and install those too.
As well as other programs they have made themselves, you can install or just hit SKIP again.

You can also customize what it closes for more control.

Never really explored it past that point, so fool around with it.


CCleaner.

This is a Program used to Clean all Registry Errors, and Unused junk Folders.
Which gives you more Ram, which means a Faster Pc. :p
Which leads to a faster Gameplay on Rs, (Less lag)
Their's a Version for Macs, and Windows.
It's easy to use, and uses very little CPU.

Disk fragmentation.
Go to your start menu, look up "Disk Defragmenter"

Select your (C) drive,
Click on it, than hit "Defragment Disk".
Than wait, this helps clean up your Pc,
which will reduce Lag in games, due to more Ram.

Nice post bro! You can also do weekly Disk Frags and Clean Ups, to get rid of unessential files and stuff.. really does help!
