Hey guys. I am posting this to stress the importance of account safety, and emails from 'Jagex'.

I recently lost 700m, and I could not figure out why. I sat at my computer for an hour, hour and a half just looking through it. Today, I made the discovery of an email I received. The Url ended in ' .com.de '. I figured I have been phished, because I put my legit information there. X.x ( That's how slow I can be at times ).

I want to stress account security. Some ways you can secure your account is by doing these.

1.) Set a bank pin. These will make it hard for ' hackers ' to enter your bank account.
2.) Recovery Questions. If your account gets jacked, use these to help retrieve it.
3.) Stay away from email links. If you see you have gotten an infraction, warning, mute, ect; Do not click the email, go to ' [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ' and login through there to find out if you have received one.

Here is the email I had gotten. The website has since been taken down, but the URL is still there. Sorry for the gray box. I will add a picture shortly. Need to fix something.

Dear Player,

we have received multiple report actions towards your RuneScape account that has lead to it being placed in the "Danger Zone". This means your account is on the verge of being banned or muted depending on each report type. If you are unaware of the rules of RuneScape, please read the rules and conditions located on our home page.

Please click the following link and enter your username and password to view your account status or to submit an appeal:

[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] unescape/loginform.ws?mod=www&ssl=0&dest=account.ws

Please note: Due to a recent bug in our bot detection system, some accounts may have received void infractions. The majority of void infractions have been removed. We urge you to visit the appeal section to appeal any unjustified infractions received due to system errors.

Kind regards,
The RuneScape Team

Please take my advice and secure your account. People are becoming smarter and smarter as the days go on, and are going to learn how to do this type of thing. I was one of the unlucky idiots who fell for those losers, who cannot do anything for themselves. They only have scamming on their minds.

Thank you for taking the time to read this, I will update this later.

That's why you have Web security, Like if I ever go on a phisher, it will say 'Phisher Detected Go Back' Should get it, it will stop these.
