i dont really know how to explain what just happened. i went into itunes and decided to restore my ipod cause i didnt want to have it jailbroken anymore and i restored it and i was almost there and then STOPPED. it looked like this ---> (--------------------_) WTF. and then my friend told me to hold the home and sleep button and i did and then it rebooted and the "connect to itunes" screen came up and i connected it, BUT WAIT itunes still thinks its restoring the ipod from 5 minutes ago! im fairly confident that my ipod is now as good as cheese right now soo.. PLEASE HELP!

iTunes: Restoring... (-----------_) stopped and wouldnt go any farther.
Me: holds home & sleep and it says "connect to itunes"
iTunes: Restoring... (-----------_) wont finish the restore!!!!!! is my ipod a goner??

edit:
this isnt me but basically the same thing happened:

its an easy fix, just hold power and home button for about 15 seconds then once it resets just release both and restore again
