How To Change Your Ip For Your Linksys Router

(These two are the only ones i was able to complete. If there is anyone who can help me post about other please take photos and how you did so and i will give you proper credit!)


Linksys

Step 1: Go to 192.168.1.1 and log in (default is usually admin password admin)

Step 2: Click Setup on the main selections

Step 3: Click on MAC Address Clone in sup tabs

Step 4: If you have not done this before make sure click enable and the numbers below it will get darker and able to edit

Step 5: The last two digits in the picture that are highlighted, change the very last digit but 1 or 2 numbers up or down

Step 6: Then click save settings and then your good to go



PLEASE NOTE!
Your internet connect will say that you do not have internet access. Please be patient as it will take a few moments to do this. To help close your browser, restart your computer, router, and modem. I hope my tutorial helped!


Netgear

Step 1:Go To 192.168.1.1

Step 2:Then you will have to log in username and password assuming default will be Admin paswword Admin

Step 3: Once logged in click on basic setting and then scroll down until you see Router MAC Address and click the bottome one circled

Step 4: Now them number will become editable. Now in the picture the code is C4:3D:C6:86:2A:78 so he changed the 3D to 8D.

Step 5:Now once you have gone through this and made you sure you did it correctly you will click apply and you lose internet connection. This will happen and again you will have to reset your modem and router by un-plugging them and waiting for 10-20 seconds.

How To Port Forward Your Xbox


Linksys

Step 1: Start by going to 192.168.1.1 and log in, usually your username and password will be admin admin

Step 2: Once logged in click the Access Restrictions main tab

Step 3: Scroll down until you see this

Step 4: Now in this you will add these ports:
Name1 53-53 (Click Add)
Name2 80-80 (Click Add)
Name3 88-88 (Click Add)
Name4 1863-1863 (Click Add)
Name5 3074-3074 (Click Add)

Step 5: Once finished it should look something like this

Step 6: Now when all that is done click Settings!

There, you have port forwarded your xbox 360 on your linksys router. You should have a much better connection type and it fixes your nat type to open or moderate depending your your connection



Netgear

Step 1: Start by logging in usually username and password will be admin admin

Step 2: Click on Port Forwarding/Port Triggering or just Port Forwarding

Step 3: You should now see something that looks like this

Step 4: Now click on the Add Custom Service button

Step 5: This is what the first one should look like done for you. The ports that you need to add are:
Name1 53-53 (leave everything click apply)
Name2 80-80 (leave everything click apply)
Name3 88-88 (leave everything click apply)
Name4 1863-1863 (leave everything click apply)
Name5 3074-3074 (leave everything click apply)




Step 6: Now save your settings and restart your router and your xbox 360 nat type will change giveing you a better connection!

Nice method for changing the Ip-address ...I am using the Linksys Router ..i used this method to change my ip-address Now i check at here [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] it shows my ip-address diffident .
