I was playing on my xbox last night and the graphics went all weird and different colours, so I turned my xbox and tv off and then back on and all I could see was a black screen. I then took out my HDMI and tried doing it with my HD cables. Firstly it worked and then the graphics started playing up again. I turned both my TV and xbox off and back on and again, a black screen. I switched between the two several times and tried every channel on my TV and it still didnt work. I left my xbox and TV overnight, got up in the morning and i still had a blank screen with HDMI and the cables.

If you know how to fix this or have any ideas on what might be playing up please help me, I will rep every answer!

I have a 120gb xbox 360 elite

Take everything out and leave it for a while, all the plugs etc, and turn each socket off.
