The big gaps are there because of the resolution on my monitor.
You should never make the mad width of a site more than 960px, otherwise people with older/small monitors won't be able to see the whole thing without scrolling, and that's a pain in the ****.

Well since it's never actually going to be published online as it's just to show I'm competent with PHP, HTML and CSS I don't see the need, but thanks for the suggestion.
I think that'd look better on each articals actual page.

I also recommend using round edges instead of corners for the boxes.

I don't know if you can see it, but I've used them on everything except the jquery slider at the top. :3

i like the design and the colors its really nice

if i had to rate this it would be 9/10
