So, ihc james released the mw2 bypass. It uses activeaction and I was wondering whether the mw2 method would work for zombies?
Basically, you could set activeaction "onlinegame 1;player_sprintSpeedScale 1;player_SustainAmmo 1" (I chose these because the person who could host on tu11, crazy iced tea, used these dvars. Although, he used binds which are apparently patched along with activeaction)
So you set up system link and infect your retail with these dvars, It would say "you need at least two players to start the game" or something along those lines. Then you would be in the zombies matchmaking menu. Then you start a private match with the infected dvars.
Problems:
-Since activeaction is patched. this might not work, I don't know what they done to it.
-Dvars would probably reset as you enter zombies or as you hit private match, so binds would be needed, these could be used as the person who modded tu11 before had binds.
-This method is for mw2, so it might not be applicable and the dvars etc... along with active action could behave differently.
If anyone has input please feel free to ask. Ive never really attempted modding black ops so this is just a quick thought.
sv_GameSendServerCommand is also in black ops, which is used for the mw2 method.
