I am trying to connect to a server that I have connected to before, but now I cannot connect. I get a socketTimeoutException after a little while. I have restarted minecraft, re-downloaded it, restarted my computer, tried playing from the browser, and reset my router and still no result. Is there any way to fix this problem?

they might have switched to hamachi or you are too updated?

they port forwarded it, so that isn't it. I can see that the server is running. Also If I were at a newer version, then it would say that the client is outdated, and I only get the connection error
