Of course it's possible. Eventually over time you will see a downgrade method released to the public, but for now you cannot downgrade. Also iH8sn0w is a trustworthy guy, I'm not sure why you think otherwise?

There is a way for A5 and A5x devices but it's currently a exploit that requires a dev account and previous shsh blobs. I happen to know how but as with such a rare exploit it will never be released to the public. It is however being used to create a jailbreak that hopefully can be released to the public. There is currently no ETA for that at the moment. If you upgraded I'm sorry. A5 and A5x no longer relies fully on shsh blobs to sign/verify a apple firmware, a new system called apticket is now used and even if you had your shsh blobs your screwed. just hold on tight dude. by the way please don't hesitate to use google next time it's all over.
