I own a pair of Turtle Beach X41 and find them to be a great headset, I am now having a slight problem though, I plug my headset into one of the Modern Warfare 2 controllers (the ones made by Madcatz) and the chat is perfectly clear, I hear everybody clearly with no problems. However, my controller is starting to disconnect randomly and will most likely have to be thrown out very soon unforutnately, in preparation for that I plugged my Turle Beaches into one of my spare controllers ( I have two and they are both wireless) but I find that the chat sounds very bad on my wireless controllers and people sound quiet and muffled. Could anybody offer suggestions to why this happens and a possible fix?
