Yes, should run it with little or no lag. I suggest some more ram though.

More ram, and a better computer in general wouldn't hurt. I suggest saving more money and buying a better computer or building your own for the best value.

3GB RAM will not run Minecraft. You need at least 8GB RAM.

The minimum to run minecraft is 1gb of ram... My computer that has 8GB ram runs skyrim on ultra with no lag. You do not need 8GB for minecraft...

On medium render distance it will be fine. Also, ram isn't everything.
