Oblivion really revolutionized the free roam RPG game in general, but honestly Skyrim was just too much of an amazing improvement, so I do like Skyrim better.

Skyrim over Oblivion anyday, i think it's because i was quite abit young when i got Oblivion to now and i didn't really like Oblivion. Plus i went through Skyrim like a rocket and i still enjoy playing it, cant wait for the DLC and i hope there is going to be some good stuff on it like; new missions, new weapons and spells and some new boss monsters .....

Lasting Gameplay: Tie
Free Roaming: Skyrim
Cities and Characters: Skyrim
Graphics: Skyrim
Oblivion's guilds were much better especially the Thieves Guild. In Skyrim there was no novelty and you could just murder through quests.

Probably Oblivion, the guild quests are much better IMO and I prefer Cyrodiil to Skyrim.

Oblivion, Graphics and Voice actors aren't everything. The quests were much more structured and you actually wanted to help people and not just do it to get an item.

Also, I prefer having a set character from the start. Skyrim, IMO, ruined the Elder Scrolls Lore by making it so you could be anything while everyone else is something specific.

BUT - Morrowind FTW.
