It is so much more advanced + smaller than a droid.

The droid looks like bricks when it's in your pocket.

I've had both and I like my Droid X better, this is mainly due to the bigger screen. I have pretty massive hands so those keys on the iPhone were just too small for me. The general layout wasn't that different IMHO. I also liked the fact that you could get games in the "play" store on Droids for free if they had ads while you could only get a shortened version of the game on iOS

Droid is more open source, so for smarter people. But 8 year olds can use iphones so.....
