Astro A40's are the best. They are 7.1 surround sound and they have the mixing amp. They are so good that every gaming competition uses them like the COD XP tournament and every MLG player uses them

The two best headsets on the market right now are the Astro A40's and Turtle Beach PX5's. I personally have the turtle beaches and my friend prefers them over his A40's. Just a suggestion... Hope you get the headset thats right for YOU.

I am liking the Turtle Beach X11's w/ wires...

1) They are Comfortable

2) They are great for all Voice and Audio

3) They are durable and have lasted about 2 years now, still looking brand new.

CONS:
-Sometimes the mic jack can be a little annoying where it either won't work or is buzzing (Happens Almost Never)

- A couple of Wires

- Headset Hair...

*That's really all I can say, I do recommend them and also they aren't too costly... Somewhere around $40 I believe

The AKG Q701 (K701/K702 as well)is the best gaming headphone within reason. Positioning, detail, separation, and signature make it the best. If you pair it with an Astro Mixamp and a Zalman ZM-1 mic, you've got the best gaming headphone setup out there. No Astros, TBs, Trittons, etc. will be able to give you that kind of quality. They're also incredible for music, which is their intended use.

Also, I think I'll just leave this here:
