In call of duty world at war, the first map was an introduction to Nazi zombies, the only real story behind it was they were carrying cargo on a plane when they crashed into an airfield, half the crew died in the crash, and some of the others that survived were killed by the savage zombies, the other made their way to an abandoned airfield base, that's where the game begins. Next is the asylum where dr, richtofen started before he was hired to mess with 115, then shi no numa where you can actually see 115, and then der riese where it all started.
The storyline hasn't completed yet, they've left it wide open now for a good 11 months since der riese was released, I believe they stopped developing maps when they secured Black ops and new they would be developing black ops, hence the story continues.

sorry matey but that sounds nothing like the mystery box 100% not confirmed because germany has nothing to do with the cold war so natzi's is out of the equatsion.
