You need a Haupauge HD Pvr, that the best one I think:)

but these things dont come cheap, i want to know the cheapest way into doing these, such as can you record with webcam?

If you get a HD-PVR, you can record your gameplay in HD.

I suggest you learn about it before jumping into the community... No you should not get anything but an HDPVR because no one wants to watch a video that looks like it has come from the 1950's

You can use a dazzle or a camcorder. just look up tutorials on youtube.
