I Have Been Thinking About This For a While. We Cathlics Believe Jesus Christ Was Born On December 25th. We Give Gifts and Aswell Recieve Them. So, I Think Someone Made Up Santa Clause As A Way To Recieve Presents and Have Nothing To Do With Celebrating Christmas. Same Thing Goes With The Easter Bunny. We Catholics Believe That Jesus Christ Rose From The Dead On Easter. We Praise Him On That Day and Give/Reieve Gifts. Once Again, I Think Someone Wanted To Recieve Gifts So They Made Up an Excuse For Recieving Gifts.
I Have Not Meant To Offend Anyone Religions or Athiests.

FCBayernMunich wroteI Stopped Reading This Once I Saw You Typed Like This. But no it did not.. I am atheist and my true beliefs is that ok so if this Jesus person was born on December 25th wasnt he given gifts for being a "gifted" baby? So wouldnt that relate to giving others presents?I Have Been Thinking About This For a While. We Cathlics Believe Jesus Christ Was Born On December 25th. We Give Gifts and Aswell Recieve Them. I read somewhere that Saint Nick was some guy a long time ago who would go around giving less fortunate people gifts(bread, some change, the little things to keep them going) and it somehow turned into a holiday

Santa Claus is apparently St. Nicholas and the easter bunny is just a way to make easter fun you moron, and how would it affect atheists? We get free chocolate and presents
