well since its your first buy probably a falcon or a xenon and there not name brands there what type it is

Make shore you get it from a reliable seller.If you can afford it get a Jasper motherboard because they have the least problems.Get a good harddrive space.I suggest going to Best Buy and getting a 1TB its cheap and allot of space.If you really have money get a RGH Jasper motherboard.

Xenons are cheap but overheat very fast and aren't that good.

Falcons are very good, especially for a first Jtag. They are a little more money, but I think it's worth it. One more thing, try to buy only from trusted sellers like "Carlooch" or "Mafia5k", those are the only trusted Jtag sellers I know off the top of my head. Just look under the "Xbox 360 Marketplace" forum.

Don't buy a xenon
Don't even buy a jtag
Buy a RGH
If you buy a RGH
Buy a Jasper
Spend the extra money on a jasper.
