I learnt how to make the pokeball from this tutorial:

then I found a way to open it and then added some effects in photoshop.



Right out of C4D:

This is my v2 of the image but I am still not finished with it (has many bumpy edges) and when I am I am finished I am thinking of doing a speed art based around it:D Can you please rate it out of 10 thanks.

Not really keen on the fully opacity render
Maybe add a couple more spacey images within it.

Also at the bottom of the render their is that bumpey black and grey gradient, but i guess thats what you mean by

(has many bumpy edges)

Ye I get what you mean but this peace is most focusing on the render I am trying to get in to 3D modelling.

And for this reason I have added the image straight from C4D as well.

Personally, I do not like the whole "open Pokeball" render. Perhaps if inside the Pokeball had a little shine in it, it may look better.
