I have this computer but the DDR3 Memory is 4GB now. Why does minecraft lag for me is the laptop bad or is it something else? Please help.

The processor is very,very slow. Under no circumstances will your computer be able to play Minecraft smoothly.

I suggest that you download Optifine.
It helps lag a lot!
