Hey guys lately I've been having some FPS issuses on BF3 on PC. I was wondering if my pc has too low specs to be able to run this game properly. Here are my specs: GPU: ATI Radeon HD 5700 Series
CPU: AMD Athlon II X2 220 Processor 2.80 GHz Is it that i need a new processor? I am a bit curious to know if it is because my PC is Nvidia based and not ATI.

It's not AMD, its an ATI card, and it's really not that bad quite good for gaming but yeah I think its something of one version off, and thank you for aware/conforming me of this

AMD took over ATI a while back and the others are right its quite an old card.
I think it should be decent if you lower the settings quite a bit.
Definately time for an upgrade of both graphics and CPU

Which 5700 series is it? It could be a 5750, 5770 etc. Also your CPU is not that good.
