Hi everyone,
When I'm on my laptop a message appears telling me that 'Aero Peek' is using to much system memory and is affecting my laptops performance. However I like it, could it be anything else that is making this message appear?
Thanks

Either upgrade your memory or just change your windows theme.

My RAM is quite good, better than my old laptop and on there the message never popped up.

The file AeroPeek.exe could be infected with a virus. Do a good scan of your computer to make sure that's not the case.
If all else fails, remove the program and re-install. After the install, double check the program isn't using up the same amount of memory by going to Task Manager>Processes and see how much memory it's using. Take it from there.

Right click on the taskbar, click Properties, and uncheck the bottom box that says "Use Aero Peek to preview the desktop."
If that fails for some reason, restart the computer with Aero Peek disabled. If it's still running, uninstall it and run a scan like InterFC said. I recommend Malwarebytes if you need an AV as it's extremely lightweight, fast, unintrusive, and free for the basic functions.

You can't upgrade your Video Card on a laptop if you are on one. Also just get around 8GB of RAM. Or change your theme to something that does not use much Graphics.
