Which one of these should I get? And do my system specs meet the requirements for it?

The HD 7850 beats the GTX 550 TI easily.

Radeon HD 7850. You should also upgrade your RAM.

About that, I'm curious, why do you have 5GB of RAM? That's such an awkward number for memory. Buy 2x4GB which will be a lot better than 5GB.

If you have the money for the Radeon get that, its worth it!

a better processor would be better for either of these GPU's

If your AMD Athlon II is only a dual core, then I wouldn't bother spending all your money on a 7850, as it will just be bottle necked by your processor.

Get a quad core CPU if your don't already have one, and with the money left over get the 550ti if you can't afford the 7850.

Admittedly it won't run everything out there, but it should be ok for Call of Duty on max settings and Battlefield 3 at medium settings.
