yes there pricy but they are worth it

If you're expecting to be gaming and such like COD, turtle beach XP500's are the best.
Astros are NOT the best. People think because MLG's use them that they're better. MLG's can't use wireless headsets in competitions, that's why they choose Astros, they have the best wired sound.
XP500's feature programmable presets, pump up the bass, boost highs and lows, block out certain frequencies of sounds. Basically you could program them to ONLY hear footsteps.
