Don't you go making fun of my gaming laptop.
The first one is sounding better, quad core and an actual brand video card.

The first option is better.
But agreeing from the above post, there is a lot more to take into consideration when purchasing a PC.

@OP Obviously the first one would be the better choice, bigger screen, two more cores which modern games will take advantage of and a dedicated GPU.
If you can afford it then the first Laptop you suggested is better in almost every single way.
Of course you would get better value for money if you built a PC, but that's your choice.

Extra hdd bays
